She knew how, and she knew well--
For it is not easy

The ice flowed
and the orcs fell
she drew her power from a well--
"The well of eternity" some said
with their blood
the orcs paid
soon the whole village was frozen sunder--
and man could only wonder
how one woman could kill them dead
"as long as they pay" the woman said
